This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others. This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability. The job roles that relate to this qualification may also include RTO Manager and RTO Director The primary pathway from this qualification is to study further in university at a postgraduate or master’s level. Alternatively, the student may seek to work in an occupation/role of their choosing such as: • RTO Manager. • Academic Manager. • Director of Studies. • Program Manager. • Principal Executive Officer. • Faculty Manager and • RTO Director.

This qualification is for who would like to hone their skills and knowledge to create further educational and employment opportunities for themselves. It is also anticipated that this qualification may be of interest to those students who have specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others. This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability. The job roles that relate to this qualification may also include RTO Manager, Academic Manager, Director of Studies, Program Manager, Principal Executive Officer, Faculty Manager and RTO Director. It is generally observed that an international student when they go back to their home country will benefit a great deal when they attain required skills and knowledge that are needed to complete this course. Potential students typically are: - >> No age range but typically most students will be from a younger age range (18 - 35) >> From varied cultural backgrounds >> Experience in the field of organisational learning >> Full access to an Australian business workplace >> Usually educated to at least diploma level or above having relevant previous studies. >> Has IELTS band score of 5.5 or equivalent in line with regulations

Course Delivery and Duration

This program is delivered in the classroom Face-to-face and through structured self-study. This qualification will be delivered over 52 weeks, including 40 weeks of training and assessment spread over 4 terms of 10 weeks each and 12 weeks of holidays. Students are required to attend minimum 20 hours of face-to-face training and 4 hrs. of self-study per week.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this course in the Training Package. Eureka Institute of Management has the following entry requirements: International students must: • Be at least 18 years of age and have completed Year 12 or equivalent. • Participate in a course entry interview to determine suitability for the course and student needs taking into account existing skills, knowledge and the experience. • Have an IELTS* score of 5.5 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following: >> Educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country; or >> Successful completion of an English Placement Test * Note that other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can be accepted. Students are required to provide their results so that it can be confirmed they are equivalent to IELTS 5.5. • Unique Student Identifier (USI)- every student must have a verified USI without which qualification will not be issued. Students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge, and experience (credit transfer or recognition of prior learning). The granting of course credit may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course. This process is outlined in Eureka Institute of Management’s Student Enrolment and Completion Policy and Associated Procedures and Training and Assessment Policy & Associated Procedures.

Course Structure

Three (3) core and five (5) elective units are required for the award of the BSB80120 Diploma of Management (Learning). Units have been selected in accordance with the packaging rules and are relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and qualification level.
